The lost sites competition brief asked us to consider a forgotten space and how we can re-invent it. Our chosen site in Manchester has lost its way to a series of arbitrary land-uses with no relationship to each other or their immediate urban context. We have used this opportunity to explore the value of re-activating this area as both a space for people as well as nature. Shunning the status quo of commercial development and instead opting to create a harmony of people, wilderness and an exciting new public space for Manchester.
